A controversial Upper Hunter Shire Councillor has been formally censured for alleged breaches of the Council’s Code of Conduct.
Councillors voting in favour of the action against Elizabeth Flaherty during a closed session of the regular monthly meeting last night.
The censures relate to accusations against Councillor Flaherty between July and December last year.
The so called breaches largely relate to her publicly criticising council actions, procedural matters and the publishing of information online.
