Questions are being asked about roadworks that have commenced on the road between Scone and Merriwa.
Merriwa locals want to know why Upper Hunter Shire Council road crews have commenced on the Scone end of the road rather than their side of town where the conditions have been described as atrocious.
Resident Chris Kemp said it’s left many people scratching their heads and wants the council to explain the logic they used to make the decision.
