A breakthrough in the murder investigation of Hunter Valley man John Simpson.
The 42-year-old’s body was discovered on a property along the Great North Road at Laguna in May.
He reportedly had been shot in the head.

Victorian police have arrested a 34 year-old man in Melbourne over the killing.
He is expected to be extradited to New South Wales today and be charged.
