Scone to defend their Group 21 premiership title

Scone will take on Greta Branxton in the Group 21 First Grade Grand Final this weekend.

The Thoroughbreds advanced after beating the Devils 32-18 in the Preliminary Final at Denman Oval yesterday afternoon.

Scone captain-coach Adam Clydesdale said it’s been a hard grind this year.

“The comps pretty strong this year so do it the hard way,” he said.

“There’s plenty to improve on you know. We’ve got a good young squad here and we’re looking to go all the way.”
