An urgent call-out has been issued for more players to join the Muswellbrook Heelers for the 2024 rugby union season.
The club hoping to register a senior men’s team in this year’s Hunter Rugby competition.
Coach Cameron Young said interest has been good, but they still need a handful more players to sign up.

“We have a deadline to meet our club’s nomination into this year’s competition,” he said.
“If we don’t have the numbers at training by next Wednesday 28th February we will have to call off our endeavours to get the Heelers back on the paddock.
“If you are interested & want to play you need to let us know ASAP.”
