DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures have announced that “Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie” is coming in late September 2025.
The live-action/CG-animated preschool series debuted on Netflix in 2021 and has been a hit for the service as children worldwide embrace Gabby and her antics.
If you’ve never experienced the magic of Gabby, it all about a 12-year-old who, after unboxing an item, uses the power of her magical cat ears to shrink down to dollhouse size and go on adventures.
It’s reported that Laila Lockhart Kraner will reprise her role from the series in the film which follows Gabby as she goes on a road trip with her Grandma Gigi to the urban wonderland of Cat Francisco.
However, when her precious “Gabby’s dollhouse” ends up in the hands of an eccentric cat lady named Vera, Gabby sets off on an adventure through the real world to get the Gabby Cats back together and save the dollhouse before it’s too late.
The hit series has also inspired a toy line that includes LEGO sets, and other merchandise as well popular apps and a YouTube channel with over a million subscribers.
