Redevelopment of Olympic Park is finally set to go ahead with Muswellbrook Shire Council signing off on a design concept this week.
Mayor Jeff Drayton said the project will see changes to the grandstand including additional change rooms for women, a new canteen and a function room for up to 200 people.
The council will now send the ideas agreed to by all of the user groups to the designers ahead of putting the project out to tender in the new year.
