Muswellbrook Shire Council extends tip fee relief

Good news for Muswellbrook Shire residents impacted by the storms last week.

The council has waived the cost of dumping all storm waste until the end of February.

It comes after the State Government announced over the week that it will not charge their usual levy either for the same time period in Singleton, Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter Shires.

Muswellbrook Mayor Jeff Drayton said not unlike a lot of other places Muswellbrook Shire had its fair share of damage, not only green waste. It’s all sorts of waste.

“That relief will certainly be welcome.”
