The Upper Hunter may have some of the worst air quality in the country but it is getting better.
An analysis of the data shows a reduction in the number of poor air quality alerts for PM10 dust particulates in the air.
There were 207 issued for Upper Hunter locations last year, a drop of 115 from 2023.
