$1-billion investment to establish local solar industry

The Upper Hunter is set to become the country’s biggest producer of solar panels.

The PM will make the $1-billion announcement about the initiative later this morning at Liddell with Sun Drive.

Local Federal MP Dan Repacholi said this is a massive coup for the Upper Hunter that will deliver 500 local jobs.
