An invasive animal expert has compared the current wild pig problem here in the Upper Hunter to the mouse plague.
Hunter Local Land Services has engaged Dave Worsley to deliver a series of workshops at the start of next month to help landowners deal with the issue.
Mr Worsley says it’s not an easy problem to combat and many different options that could be used.

The first workshop will be held in Scone on Monday 4 March followed by Merriwa, Broke and Barrington.
