The document claimed the massive coal mine operator had a 40 percent difference in the amount they paid their male and female employees.
Glencore claims the Workplace Gender Equality Agency report is flawed because it only used data for a corporate area that represents just 7% of its workforce.

The company says it provides equal employment and career development opportunities to men and women.
A spokesperson told us their pay rates are determined by job, not by gender.
