Greyhound Racing New South Wales has come out swinging this morning at Muswellbrook Shire Councillors who opposed their large scale re-homing centre at Martindale.
The five person Regional Planning Panel had unanimously rejected the industry’s development application for the 30-million dollar plan.
They determined the site was completely unsuitable for the facility.

Greyhound Racing New South Wales CEO Rob Macauley said the Mayor Steve Reynolds and his councillors should have listened to their own planners.
Mr Macauley said while they will review the decision and reasons given there are two other local government areas in New South Wales that have already expressed a keen interest in housing the centre.
