A helping hand this morning for some Hunter Valley farmers.
Rural Aid has come to town for a week with almost 30 volunteers in tow ready to help fix fences or what needs doing.
CEO John Warlters said the free help will focus their efforts in Singleton.

The charity is hosting a ‘Farm Recovery Event’ to help Singleton farmers still recovering from the 2022 floods, and now facing stifling drought conditions. Some farmers along the Hunter River experienced five floods in nine months.
