Organisers of the first discussion forum on the future of the Hunter River have hailed the day a big success.
Over 150 people with an interest in the famous waterway gathered in Singleton for the event organised by Hunter Local Land Services (LLS).
Glenn Lyons from LLS said there were some great discussions had.

The Forum heard weeds are one of the biggest challenges to the ongoing health of the Hunter River.
