Jimbo stoked to sign his first record deal

An Upper Hunter country singer is set to take his career to the next level after securing a record deal.

Jimbo Stokes, who grew up in Merriwa and now lives in Scone, has been signed by ABC Music.

Jimbo said the deal came as a complete shock and follows recent performances at the Tamworth Country Music Festival including being a top ten finalist in the StarMaker Competition.

He’ll release his first single under the deal next month.
