A group of hikers have been rescued after getting lost in the Upper Hunter.
The five raised the alarm from within the Barrington Tops National Park.
NSW Ambulance called in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter at 1 yesterday morning who quickly found the hikers and passed on their location coordinates to ground crew.

They were then walked out and given the ok by paramedics.
