The State Government said it needs more time to work through the mess left by their predecessors before being able to commence the Muswellbrook Bypass.
Transport for New South Wales is working with EnergyCo and Muswellbrook Shire Council on how to safely move massive wind turbine parts through the area with no current clear path.
Regional Transport and Roads Minister Jenny Aitchison said she’s not prepared to make premature announcements like the former Perrotett Government did.

Mrs Aitchison said she can’t say how long the Muswellbrook Bypass construction will be delayed at this stage.
