A proposed major redevelopment of industrial land at Liddell is set to go ahead.
The State Government has signed off on AGL’s plan to convert the site into a renewable energy hub.
The approval clears the way for the historic former Liddell Power Station to be demolished and the area remediated into an industrial site.

The complete 143-hectare site is expected to generate more than $260 million in Capital Investment Value for the Upper Hunter and create 100 full-time equivalent jobs.
