Planes have been prevented from landing at Scone Airport after power was disconnected earlier this week.
The Hunter Valley Newsroom can exclusively reveal a flight was forced to redirect to Tamworth on Wednesday night after the pilot was unable to activate the runway lighting to land.
An investigation found the meter box had a message the power had been disconnected and to contact the retailer.

We have reached out to the Upper Hunter Shire Council, which operates the airport, and the power supplier, AGL for comment.
