Super-fast internet is now within reach for many Scone residents, as work to install fibre-to-the-premises NBN set to get underway this month.
The Upper Hunter Council says more than 2400 residents will soon be able to upgrade to faster speeds, paving the way for better quality streaming, quicker downloads and faster file transfers.
Each of the 5 locations are expected to take a day to complete and will start with Davies street on the 8th of April, followed by the corner of Cook and Doyle street on the 9th.
Individual internet providers can provide information when their customer’s homes are able to sign up for the new service. Details on the works schedule are available on the Upper Hunter Council’s website.
