A Hunter Valley man will be sentenced next month after admitting to assaulting a neighbour he accused of trying to ‘tune-up’ his missus over social media.
The Herald reports Newcastle Local Court was told yesterday Harley Zackery Anton barged his way into the victim’s home at Heddon Greta after receiving Snapchat messages meant for his partner.
The 31-year-old has pleaded guilty to common assault, possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit and entering a building with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The court has continued Anton’s conditional bail ahead of finding out his fate on September 11.
