An Upper Hunter renewable energy project has just been endorsed by the State Government.
The Lightsource BP solar farm and battery energy storage system on the Goulburn River at Merriwa is one of five projects selected in the latest tender round of the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap.
The announcement was made this morning by Energy Minister Penny Sharp.
