The Married at First Sight reunion party dropped yesterday and if you were expecting friendly catchups and cuddles then we have not been watching the same show.
Let’s start with the news we all already knew, Clint & Jacqui have been touching each other, their words not mine. They thought that their new relationship though was a well-kept secret, which could not have been further from the truth. Ryan though says that being lied too about Jacqui’s feelings for Clint made him feel “validated” but Ryan takes the time to pull Clint aside and let him know that “we’re not f***ing mates”. With all this concluding in Ryan accusing everyone of lying to him and Jacqui screaming at him that she put in all the effort.
It’s been a few weeks since all the experiments have concluded and as we watch the reunion dinner there is only one couple still together in Rhi & Jeff. (which might not last given his new hair cut). Jamie and Dave called it just a week ago when Jamie concluded that Dave “wasn’t fully into her”, Dave however tries to say that the decision was mutual.
Despite what happened the last time we saw Adrian & Awhina, where the pair said they were keen to continue the romance, Awhina shared that her opinions and feelings for Adrian changed very swiftly once the experiment ended. Sierah though isn’t letting any of what Awhina has done to Adrian slide, Jamie even shared that she had been texting Adrian insulting things about Awhina. Which of course ends with Awhina and Sierah fighting. The episode concludes with Awhina and Adrian fighting it out before Sierah storms off.
Paul tried to make himself sound like a victim after his time with Carina. Going so far as to call her “insecure” and “crazy jealous” and honestly this is all the time I’m willing to give Paul. Paul is the worst.
